I’m not sure of the metaphor, but this week finds me either hiking through some very dark forest or navigating some furious whitewater.
Either way, I must be true to what I need to do and bid you farewell for a few weeks. But while I’m traveling, I’ve left you plenty to read in the library of archives…maybe you’ll run across some old friends who now reach you in a different voice.
So fire up your mouse and sit down in any comfortable chair I have. Or if you want to do some tunes, CMT has a link below to Stevie Nicks and a Fleetwood Mac anthem that keeps changing every time I listen.
As ever, thank you for the privilege of gracing your screens. I may be out-of-pocket for awhile, but while I’m away, you are welcome here. Safe journey…to us all. I’ll see you on the other side…
“I took my love and I took it down
I climbed a mountain and I turned around
And I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills
‘Till the landslide brought me down
Oh, mirror in the sky
What is love?
Can the child within my heart rise above?
Can I sail thru the changing ocean tides?
Can I handle the seasons of my life?
Mmm Mmm…
Well, I’ve been afraid of changing
‘Cause I’ve built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Children get older
I’m getting older too
(Gutiar solo)
Well, I’ve been afraid of changing
‘Cause I, I built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Children get older
I’m getting older too
I’m getting older too
So, take my love, take it down
Oh climb a mountain and turn around
If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well the landslide will bring you down, down
And If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well maybe the landslide will bring it down
Oh oh, the landslide will bring it down”
